A obra ocupa as balaustradas internas do varandão localizado no primeiro andar do prédio dos Correios de Niterói, composta por letras cortadas em PVC com as cores da Empresa Brasileira de Correios e Telégrafos e as palavras “SIM” (amarelo) e “NÃO” (azul), além de bolas de isopor com tamanhos variados. “A intenção da artista é subverter a telegrafia ao convidar o público a fazer sua opção pelo SIM ou pelo NÃO, escrevendo sua palavra de ordem nas bolas de isopor, bem como resgatar o objetivo dos Correios: a escrita à mão de mensagens e missivas”
Exposição Coletiva
Inaugurada em 30 de novembro/19 no Espaço Cultural Correios em Niterói, nove artistas mulheres apresentam diferentes trabalhos na coletiva “Nas águas que se escondem”. O nome da coletiva é uma das possíveis traduções de “Niterói” na língua tupi. Até o dia 18 de janeiro, as nove artistas expõem obras in situ (instalações, objetos, postais e vídeos) que dialogam com a arquitetura eclética do palácio dos Correios, cuja função originária era a troca de cartas e postais. A coletiva celebra os 105 anos do Palácio dos Correios e os cinco anos do Espaço Cultural Correios de Niterói.
Segundo a curadora, Marisa Flórido, “a exposição revolve, como fazem as ondas e as marés, as camadas de memórias esquecidas, de histórias submersas, de trocas perdidas e atualizadas, de paisagens desveladas”, em homenagem à cidade de Niterói.

The artwork occupies the internal balustrades of the balcony located on the first floor of the Correios de Niterói building, composed of letters cut in PVC with the colors of the Brazilian Post and Telegraph Company and the words “YES” (yellow) and “NO” (blue ), plus styrofoam balls of varying sizes. “The artist's intention is to subvert the telegraphy by inviting the public to choose YES or NO by writing their slogan on Styrofoam balls, as well as rescuing the Post's goal: handwriting messages and missives”
Collective exhibition
Inaugurated on November 30, 2019 at the Correios Cultural Space in Niterói, nine female artists present different works at the collective “Nas águas que se escondem (In the Waters That Hide), in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro. The name of the exhibition is one of the possible translations of “Niterói” in the Tupi language. Until January 18, the nine artists exhibit artworks in situ (installations, objects, postcards and videos) that dialogue with the eclectic architecture of the Postal Palace, whose original function was the exchange of letters and postcards. The collective show celebrates the 105th anniversary of the Correios Palace and the five years of the Correios Niterói Cultural Space.
According to curator Marisa Flórido, “the exhibition revolves, as waves and tides do, layers of forgotten memories, submerged stories, lost and updated exchanges, unveiled landscapes”, in honor of the Niterói city.
